Premier Inn, operated by the Whitbread Group is one of the UKs most successful hotel brands with over 700 hotels throughout the country. The hotel at Airside was its first in Ireland, with the group now expanding to 8 sites in Ireland. In 2016, the Group embarked on an expansion plan to increase the number of bedrooms at its Swords hotel. A proposal comprising a new 6-storey extension to provide 54 new bedrooms was confirmed.

Role
Town & Country Resources Limited is planning advisor to the owners and executive management team at Adare Manor. This entails:
- providing strategic planning guidance on how best to achieve the clients’ and project architect’s vision for the site.
- Dianne McDonogh has led all planning aspects of the proposal, including management of pre-planning consultations with the Planning Authority, key stakeholders; co-ordination and preparation of the planning application documents through to issue of a Notification of Decision to Grant Permission by Fingal County Council in 2017. Construction of the development was completed in 2019 and is operational.
